The safari begins the moment you arrive in Nairobi. It will be one of the splendid safari to witness as you will be visiting the most famous destinations in Kenya. The safari involves visiting the famous Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru which happens to be one of the major lakes in the Great Rift Valley and finally Amboseli National Park. During the safari you will also have the opportunity to interact with the local communities to see their way of life and experience the culture. Also, you can engage in other activities like flying the balloon to have a firsthand birds-eye view of the Mara.
Pickup from the airport or your hotel and travel towards the fertile highlands of Kenya leading down via the Great Rift Valley escarpment, on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War 11. Have a glimpse at the attractive chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. You will now be driving through the Great Rift Valley as you pass via the magnificent Longonot earth satellite station proceeding to Narok. Experiencing breathtaking views of the world’s greatest land rift and move across acres of barley and wheat, before you reach the Maasai Mara in time for Lunch.
An evening game drive within the reserve as you will also appreciate its high animal concentration and abundance black maned lions, herds of topi roan antelope, cheetah, common zebra, coke’s hartebeest though luck essential for spotting leopard and rhino. Returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

A very early morning game drive in the Masai Mara – the ideal time to see game as temperatures are cooler and hopefully lion, cheetah and leopard will be roaming the vast grasslands in search of prey. Return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning at leisure or partake in optional activities, a visit to Masai village to see their nomadic life BUT this will be at an extra cost. After lunch at the lodge, there is a chance to relax by the swimming pool before an evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Optional Balloon Safari
A worthwhile adventure in the Masai Mara National Reserve is the balloon safari early in the morning; you will be woken and driven to the departure site. Once in the air, the view of the surrounding landscape, the rising of the sun between the mountains and the congregation of the animals at the river is beautiful. This all concludes with a champagne breakfast and memories of a lifetime.
Depart Mara after breakfast & head straight to Nakuru where you will be accommodated for a night on full board basis.
The park is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Once in the park, there will be a game drive en route to the lodge. Have lunch and rest a bit in preparation for an afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge in the evening.

After breakfast you will begin your safari driving south of Kenya towards Amboseli National Park with lunch enroute. In the heart of the park lies an amazing swamp fed by underground springs from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro, which attracts elephants and hippos in abundance. Amboseli is famous for its big game, particularly its elephants, which are the most studied in the world. Upon arrival in Amboseli, you will have an enroute game drive to your lodge and then spend the afternoon at leisure before heading out for an evening game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Overnight at Oltukai Lodge or Similar.
On this day, you will have an early morning drive which gives you the best chance of viewing Mt. Kilimanjaro, as the clouds tend to build up as the day progresses. Return to the lodge for breakfast and then partake in some leisure time before lunch. You will go on afternoon game drive until the late evening before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Here you also have a chance to visit an authentic Maasai village that has not been commercialized to see and witness their way of life. This will be at an extra cost about $30 per person.
Overnight at Oltukai Lodge or Similar.
You will have early morning game drive before going back to the lodge for your breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart for Nairobi with the last possible sightings of the magnificent snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro, arriving in Nairobi in the evening. You will then be dropped at the airport or your hotel. Thus, completing this wonderful safari with us.
